Does anyone know if you can use the high shelf filter or a similar affect to
lower the higher frequencies on a recorded track. I am trying to simulate what
people with high frequency hearing loss may experience.. Higher frequencies are
where our consonant sounds are located, so the difference between an S or an F
can be very minuscule. I thought it would be educational to record a track of
spoken words then apply an affect to lower the higher frequencies and let
someone without high frequency hearing loss listen to what I hear without my
hearing aids assisting me.

Thanks,
