Sure, Nyquist plug-ins do work on the Mac. The problem is that I
always go to the limits of Nyquist.
This means concretely that I make use of the playback feature which is
only available/implemented on Windows.
The only thing I can do for Linux and Mac systems is to generate or
provide the sample sequences.
The user would have to count the audible levels him-/herself and write
them down.
Another possibility is that all sounds are in one track and the user
inserts a label where the sound disappears.
The exported labels would be inserted into Excel or something similar
and the proper dBHL calculated (would also work with a Nyquist
plug-in).
I have to test this method first, it is just a glimpse of an idea yet.
