Hi, everyone. Please help me understand how to edit a track. I have the track selected and I've turned "solo" on. I know how to move the cursor forward and backward and how to pause and restart the track. If, let's say, I want to remove the beginning and end of the track, where there's ambient noise, and keep the middle, which has isolated sound, how do I select the parts of the track I want to delete? What settings need to be on or off? I know that David has written a user's guide for Audacity and I give him tremendous credit, because there's a lot I wouldn't have tried to do without this guide that he took the time and effort to write, but a more step-by-step explanation would help me and maybe others a lot. Alternatively, if someone's already explained this and I can find it in the archives, please let me know. Thanks very much.
