Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Apostrophe-Period Sequence
I've pasted the sentence: I could just see my books slither helterskelter on
the floor, see my sixth-grade reader flutter open and the picture of Blake that
I'd cut from last year's class pictures slide out, and see Blake pick it up and
know'.
It may just be a fleck. I was thinking someone might recognize it as a scanno
meant to be something specific, but if not, I'll just delete it and end with a
period.
Thanks,

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Apostrophe-Period Sequence
Hi again--
When there is an apostrophe right before a period at the end of a
sentence, is it supposed to be an ellipsis or just one period with no
apostrophe? Or, is there a reason to have this punctuation?
Thanks so much,
