Me either. Did you find this issue just once?
If so, I think I might make it an ellipsis. Lots of times, thoughts like that
end with one.

That's what I was debating, too. The scanner for this title is Approval Queue
Volunteer 2. Not sure who that is or how to contact them to check on it.

I've pasted the sentence: I could just see my books slither
helterskelter on the floor, see my sixth-grade reader flutter open and
the picture of Blake that I'd cut from last year's class pictures
slide out, and see Blake pick it up and know'.
It may just be a fleck. I was thinking someone might recognize it as a
scanno meant to be something specific, but if not, I'll just delete it
and end with a period.
Thanks,

Could the word before the period be a plural possessive noun? CouldTo unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to

that apostrophe after the period, but I think I may have seen that in
a British book once or twice. Otherwise I'd think, as Evan said, that
it might have been a fleck of something on the page when it was scanned.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Apostrophe-Period Sequence
Hi again--
When there is an apostrophe right before a period at the end of a
sentence, is it supposed to be an ellipsis or just one period with no
apostrophe? Or, is there a reason to have this punctuation?
Thanks so much,
