Good morning,
Apologies if you already received this email. I wanted to make sure this
information was disseminated as much as possible, so am sending it through a
couple of channels.
Thank you again for your patience as we have been working through the issues
that have been plaguing the Approval Queue. Happily, I have an update for you
today.
For any new files that are being proofread and sent to the Approval Queue, the
queue is now back to working normally. We believe this to be true for files
dating back to the beginning of November. The Approval Queue team will be
working on approving new books, as well as working through the November backlog.
It's my understanding that this is a partial fix for only these new books
coming to the Approval Queue. We are still working on the fix for older books
that are waiting on the Queue. The engineering team is currently working on
this, so we can be fully back up and running.
A huge shout out and thank you to the Approval Queue volunteer team for so
staying so diligent through this downtime and being back up and running so
quickly! Please be patient with them, as they work through both new and
backlogged books. While not a complete fix, we are pleased to have books moving
through the system again. I will continue to update you as I have more
information about the remainder of the books.
