We're as upset at this as you are. PQ is the curse of us volunteers.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Clobbered by PQ, again

This is becoming a recurring theme for me. I got a book from the checkout
list. I checked if it was already on Bookshare, then I started work on it.
And, before I finish, it comes in from the publisher, and I have to flush
what I've done.
It's depressing. Maybe there's not actually a need for me anymore, since
everything is coming from publishers.
The book I chose was quite old, so I thought it was pretty safe. Wrong.
Is there any way I can be reasonably sure what I grab from the checkout list
won't be wiped out by PQ fairly soon after I get it?
Tracy
