Tracy,

It would be easier to answer if we could see the copyright page. Could you
add it to a message?

Gerald

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Copyright question - no copyright holder on title
page

I am trying to validate Daodejing, and it has a peculiar title page. I
had the submitter double-check, and what I have is right. And what I have
is a copyright date of 2002, with no copyright holder. Then it says
"reprinted by Hackett Publishing, 2003". When I look on copyright.gov, I
see the claimant as Seven Bridges Press LLC.
I do not want to reject, and the stuff I have is accurate, but what the
heck do I put for copyright holder?
Tracy
