Okay, I followed a suggestion on this list and found my documents folder. I typed the word documents into the edit field and, indeed, the first result was the documents folder. That is exactly what I wanted so that I can browse my documents instead of having to remember the specific name. You might ask why I had not tried something so obvious before. Actually, I did. It was one of the first things I tried. I just thought the result was a header instead of a link. So thanks for encouraging me to try it again and causing me to look closer at it this time. I am so exceedingly glad that I did not lose all of my documents. Someone also suggested that in order to repair my JAWS I should download it again. That didn't work for me. I get to that point where I am asked if I want to allow this download to make changes to my computer and when I click yes it takes me right back to that notification that an accessibility driver did not install properly. I click okay on that one and I am taken right back to my downloads page. I press enter over the JAWS download and I am right back in the dialog about giving permission to make changes to my computer. That is, it runs me in circles. Anyway, it is about bedtime. I     will resume learning my way around Windows 10 tomorrow. I hope that I can get back to scanning books soon.
