Okay, I followed a suggestion on this list and found my documents
folder. I typed the word documents into the edit field and, indeed, the
first result was the documents folder. That is exactly what I wanted so
that I can browse my documents instead of having to remember the
specific name. You might ask why I had not tried something so obvious
before. Actually, I did. It was one of the first things I tried. I just
thought the result was a header instead of a link. So thanks for
encouraging me to try it again and causing me to look closer at it this
time. I am so exceedingly glad that I did not lose all of my documents.
Someone also suggested that in order to repair my JAWS I should download
it again. That didn't work for me. I get to that point where I am asked
if I want to allow this download to make changes to my computer and when
I click yes it takes me right back to that notification that an
accessibility driver did not install properly. I click okay on that one
and I am taken right back to my downloads page. I press enter over the
JAWS download and I am right back in the dialog about giving permission
to make changes to my computer. That is, it runs me in circles. Anyway,
it is about bedtime. I will resume learning my way around Windows 10
tomorrow. I hope that I can get back to scanning books soon.

“Who is more humble? The scientist who looks at the universe with an open mind
and accepts whatever the universe has to teach us, or somebody who says
everything in this book must be considered the literal truth and never mind the
fallibility of all the human beings involved?”
