It's automatic when you validate or submit a book - but I would keep a list
of books you submit or validate, anyway, just in case, to doublecheck that
they have given you the credits. Last year, near the end, I checked and
they had not given me a couple book credits, so I was able to use that list
and figure it out, and supplied the list when there was a question about the
credits. The Bookshare folks corrected the credits. So I would keep a
list, if I were you.

This may be a dumb question, but I'll ask it anyway since you can't learn
anything unless you ask.
How does one go about letting the staff know that they want to earn
credits
from Bookshare towards membership? I'm a user of NLS, so I can get them

touch with my librarian if that's how it works. Also, does anyone know
how
many books you need to validate to earn enough credits? I'm just asking
out of curiosity and don't mind doing the work. I was just
