[bksvol-discuss] Extra pages

A book I'm proofing has two pages that don't belong. There are only 173 pages 
in the book, but after page XXIII in the front matter, is page 248 and a blank 
page! After that the Intro continues. How do I get rid of the two pages? I'm 
using Word 2003.
