Hi all, Original message:
Hi,
I just put Brian Jacques' latest book, The Sable Quean, into the collection. It's at http://www.bookshare.org/browse/book/165847 <http://www.bookshare.org/browse/book/165847>. Since it's not on the new books list or searchable (see my previous email), I thought I'd send everyone the URL.
And one more thing: Before everyone starts screaming at me that the title is misspelled, no, really really it's The Sable Quean, not Queen. No, I don't know why Jacques misspelled Queen, he just did.
Well, I went a-looking on google, and discovered that there is a definition for "quean". Dunnow if that is the word Jacques meant when he wrote this children's book, though. A "quean" is a street woman, a hmmm, whore. Interesting, why would Jacques use such a word? Guess I'll have to download the book and find out. Interesting!
