Mark, Welcome, and, just so you know, this isn?t a newsletter or newsgroup, it?s a Volunteer Discussion List, so you?ll see lots of talk related to volunteering, plus quite a few off-topic messages since the volunteers like to chat at times. This isn?t discouraged since it helps volunteers form a sense of community, but there are a few of us which appreciate it if they don?t get out of hand since we have to read them all, and a few others which appreciate it because they receive multiple lists and get tons of e-mail. BTW (By the way), please put OT at the beginning of the subject line when posting an off-topic message to allow people a chance to delete it without reading it if they wish. Again, welcome to the list. "Traveling with the Dead", and "Those who Hunt the Night". Both vampire books, by Barbara Hambly. Both set in - oh, set in the late 1800's. Both, in my opinion, quite good. Thanks for the welcome. One of the great things about this list is that people teach each other how to get better scans or how to make book validation go more smoothly. This is a great bunch of people, and my life is richer for knowing them. Please feel free to ask questions about things that you don't understand. Most of us have asked those same questions when we started volunteering. Happy reading.
