Hi, Aaron. This does sound like a great book. I am not committing to it yet.
I will commit to looking at a copy in the library or bookstore to see what
kind of fonts and layout I'd be dealing with. If someone else can get it at
a library first, please feel free. Some cookbooks scan very well, and others
are the spawn of Satan. Older cookbooks, from 1985 on back, are usually easy
to scan. Modern cookbooks done with modern computer fonts and graphics are
much harder to work with. Knowing this, I'm hesitant to just buy this book
from Amazon in the hope that it will scan. I'll make a point of finding it
and having my daughter help me check it out.

Hi all.

If someone is looking for a little more challenging (but not too
challenging) project, might I suggest a book called The Bread Baker's
Apprentice by Reinhart. From what I've read, it's one of the top books on
the subject.

No rush, just thought I'd ask.

Thanks.

Aaron
