Hi, Mike!  I'm not sure how long you've been on this list, but lately,
there's been a lot of discussion about improving the quality of submissions
to Bookshare.  In an effort to do this, many of us are checking our scans
thoroughly before submitting, which means that most, if not all, of the
scannos and formatting errors can be caught before we upload them.  It
sounds like you've just been blessed to validate a book that really didn't
need to be worked on. <Smile>  My advice would be to take it for what it is,
and don't over-analyze.  Also, keep in mind that some of our volunteers are
sighted, and they may have tried to correct the formatting before submitting
the book.  Trust me, this doesn't happen often, at least not at this point,
so rejoice and be glad! <Smile>
