When I submit a book that I own, I usually put my e-mail address in the
comments section for validators, indicating that if there's any problem with
the scan, they can contact me directly and I'll rescan as appropriate. If
it's a library book, I don't usually do this because it is probable that I
will no longer have the book by the time it gets validated...which is not to
say that I wouldn't check it out again if needed. My name shows as the
submitter regardless.
