Hi, Mike, I'll be glad to proofread your book for you. Expect progress reports from me at regular intervals. Just curious, but those books marked with BTC, are they available for checkout by not-so-new proofreaders? Regards, Kim Friedman. -----Original Message----- From: bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:bksvol-discuss-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Mike Sent: Wednesday, August 24, 2011 6:05 AM To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: New Project wanted Hey Kim, Near the end of the checkout list is a book called New Legends. It's not mythology, it is a collection of science fiction stories by folks the editor considers "New Legends" in the field. OK, I'm promoting it because I scanned it. It is a long book and only a couple of the stories are humorous, but you might like it. By the way, Scott Rains wrote on the list that BTC stands for "Batchifier" a computer program used to process books so they are easier for new proofers to work with by standardizing the formatting.
