Oh, Rose, I'm sorry. I know you've put a lot of work into it, and I'd hate
to see it make it to the site without all of your hard work. I really am
sorry you had to put so much work into it for this to happen. I know you've
worked hard. Take care.

Well, since I do have a router I could have disabled Norton I suppose,
however, life got in the way and the book expired and as it stands right
now I don't have time to grab it again so I guess I just wasted two full
weekends on it.

Hi, Rose. When Norton did give me fits, it never asked me if I wanted to

allow the communication or I would have allowed it, too. I don't know
what
else to say about Norton, though, because I'd been told it could
conflict,
so I started disabling it and it worked, but now, I don't have to. Take
care.

Well generally it will ask me if I want to allow communications with a
particular site and I usually say yes, have not seen it on this
particular thing however and, when I uploaded the book I scanned in May
it went well.

Hi, Sue. Do you have Norton Internet Security, though, with the Norton
firewall? That's what can sometimes cause problems. It used to for me. I

didn't do anything special, so I don't know why it's not a problem now,
but
it used to be. Take care.

TThe firewall I don't know anything about but I have Norton, get my
updates,
scan for viruses, and it doesn't interfere or cause problems.

When I was at Seeing Eye, they had Norton Firewall on. I could not
upload
books during my stay there. Norton may really be the issue.
