Hi, Kaitlyn. Yes, I don't have to disable the firewall any more, so I'm not
sure what the problem was when I initially got Norton Internet Security.
After getting this laptop, which came with NIS, the first submission I tried
to upload wouldn't go...or was it a book I'd validated? I can't remember
now, but either way, I couldn't upload anything to the Step 2 page or submit
anything, and I couldn't download books to validate unless I disabled it.
That was the only thing Norton somehow blocked that I didn't want it to, but
it doesn't do that any more. Take care.

I was able to upload three books on Sunday and uploaded one last night from
the step two page. The one last night did get kicked back once until I
change the "O" to a "0" in the ISBN number. I have McAfee anti
virus/firewall running.

Hi, Sue. Do you have Norton Internet Security, though, with the Norton
firewall? That's what can sometimes cause problems. It used to for me. I
didn't do anything special, so I don't know why it's not a problem now, but

TThe firewall I don't know anything about but I have Norton, get my updates,
scan for viruses, and it doesn't interfere or cause problems.

When I was at Seeing Eye, they had Norton Firewall on. I could not upload
books during my stay there. Norton may really be the issue.
