That makes sense.
I would have thought the bottleneck would be with proof-reading, since
the scanning seems to be the simpler of the two. That's probably just my
perspective.
I am hoping to add a good many books to the queue this year. I am also
hoping to recruit some proofreaders. This is a great project.

in a prior year, and were waiting on the list for proofing. Just a guess,

I just watched the Volunteer State of the Union Webinar Amanda Brown did
earlier this month. Very interesting and I am excited to be a part of this
effort as a new volunteer.
I have a curiosity question. The numbers for 2019 indicated 579 books
proofread and 518 scanned. That makes the number of books proofread higher than
the total number of books scanned. Where do these extra books come from?
