Hi Lissi,
My understanding is that there are Apps you can download to read Kindle books
on other devices. For example, I have a Kindle App on my iPhone and my iPad. I
don’t have one on my computer, but Amazon does say you can use the Kindle app
to read on a PC or Mac, and that supported operating systems are PC: Windows 7,
8 or 8.1, or 10, and Mac: OS x 10.10 or higher. (There’s also a Kindle Cloud
reader, but I really know next to nothing about the Cloud.)
Amazon tells me:
Go to www.amazon.com/kindleapps <https://www.amazon.com/kindleapps>.
<>Select Download for PC & Mac.
<>When the download completes, follow the on-screen installation instructions.
Does that help? Anything more I can look up for you?

Dear Beverly,
Do you need to have an Amazon Kendal book reader product to read Kendal
books? is it possible to download them to a computer where other books are
stored?
Thank you.
Always with love,
Lissi
