For a problematic book like the one you describe, I fall into the deranged
perfectionist category and won’t proceed without a print copy to check. This
has been difficult with the public libraries closed for covid. However, I just
now looked up this title in my local library system, and it is available to
borrow as an ebook. Any chance your library might have it this way? That would
save you the money. I also look online for cheap used copies, but in this case
the Kindle price seems better than any of the used.
You said “wish list” book— was it scanned in house? If so, you can ask Amanda
to send you a link to the scanned pages, as PDFs. That has always worked for
me, the pages have always been very clear.
