Actually, it's more dependent on the voice you pick. The ETI voiced files would play on my cd player whereas those created with the Nextup voices (can't recall the real name, sorry), would not. The bit rates weren't the same. Talking mp3 files, not wav files. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shelley L. Rhodes" <guidinggolden@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi everyone,I am working with a client of mine, and want to provide some information to him. I have the file, and want to run it through Kurzweil. What file format plays on regular plain jane cd players? They don't have anything fancy, and I want him to have this information. Is it the wav file, or do I need to change it to something else.Unfortunately all my CD players play MP3 so I can't test whether I am successful in creating it or not. I don't mind actually reading it and recording it, but frankly don't have a quiet place to do that, and nor do I have a microphone plugged in right now.Thanks. Shelley L.
