Hey Erin,

Thank you for this. I can do that, and know how, smile.

I wonder, someone else said that they recognize the CDA format.

I have a copy of Goldwave, I wonder if it might convert them. As you can tell I haven't um, played much with it.

In order to do this, you will need two programs: Kurzweil (which you clearly have) and some sort of CD burning program. The exact process will depend on
your burning application, but essentially you will create the wave files
with Kurzweil, and then burn them to a CD as an audio CD (not as a data CD).
Remember that an audio CD only holds 80 minutes max, so depending on the
length of the material, you may need several.

Also, many people have mp3 cd players, but just don't know it. Unless you
buy really cheap, it can actually be somewhat difficult to find one now that doesn't play them, so you might double check to make sure her player in fact
does not play mp3s.

If you have any further questions on exactly how to do this, email me off
list with your phone number (or I'll give you mine) and I can walk you
through the process.

Either way, good luck.

Aaron

Hi everyone,

I am working with a client of mine, and want to provide some information
to him. I have the file, and want to run it through Kurzweil.

What file format plays on regular plain jane cd players? They don't have
anything fancy, and I want him to have this information.

Is it the wav file, or do I need to change it to something else.

Unfortunately all my CD players play MP3 so I can't test whether I am
successful in creating it or not. I don't mind actually reading it and
recording it, but frankly don't have a quiet place to do that, and nor do
I have a microphone plugged in right now.

Thanks.
