Hi John.
As you may know, we can't directly affect the .xml file. We submit our books
as .rtf files, and bookshare does the rest.

I don't know of anything we could put in an .rtf file that would indicate a
language change. Do you?

Thanks for the suggestions. I've downloaded a couple of books. However,
i can't see how a Braille translator or speech synthesizer would know
what language is being used. There doesn't seem to be any indication in
the xml file. Take the Rilke book, for example, do you have to tell your
synthesizer whether to speak German or English ezch time you start a new
page?

Thanks,
John
