I use Plustek OptiBook 3600 for scanning books. I think this scanner can't be
beat for scanning books. I exclusively scan library books. It's great for
doing library books. I always try to get the hardbound copy of the book if I
can. The hardbound copies have better print and also gives a good margin
around the print to allow for best scanning.
