Sue, Microsoft has patches to update Windows and Office to handle the change to the dates for daylight savings time. You probably need to download at least one of them, if not both. From what I remember, you got a new computer last year, which probably means you're running a version of Windows XP. So, start by checking under Outlook Express's Help menu for an item labeled Check for Updates and download all of the recommended updates if you find it. The updates for Outlook Express may be part of Windows, though, so don't worry if you don't see it there. I'm not sure how the updates for Outlook Express works myself since I'm using Outlook 2003. Also look under Control Panel at Automatic Updates and download new updates for Windows if your computer isn't already set to do it automatically. Keep an eye out for the Information Bar for requests to download Active X Controls since Microsoft requires several to perform updates. Also, you should check the Internet Time page under Date and Time in the Control Panel. If you aren't already synchronizing with an internet time server, then you'll probably want to do so. Even if you are, you may still want to update your date and time from the internet using the Update Now button. That will insure you have the correct date and time set on your computer. Time and date Help! Sorry for the off topic, but my computer is set to change to daylight savings time on the first Sun. of April. Instead of that, we changed today. Okay, here is my problem. When I send myself a test message in Outlook Express it has what it should: 3-11-2006. However, if I hit reply, it says: Sent Sunday, March 25, 2007. How can I fix this? I cannot find the days of the week and days of the month in date/time under control panel. Thanks, and sorry for the off topic. Sue S.
