I was very unimpressed with the voice of Samantha, which was the one on my VR Stream when I got it. I switched to the UK English Daniel voice, played with the pitch and speed, and found it much better suited to my ear. To me, it sounds a bit like the NLS narrator, Patrick Horgan. It still has a couple of words that don't sound quite right, but I have grown accustomed to it, and find it to be enjoyable to listen to when I'm not using audio books. I can't comment on the Tom voice as after my adjusting Daniel, I didn't feel the need to try it, at least not yet.

However, with APH no longer producing the book port, and Springer Design being very iffy about putting out a new courier, I'm beginning to think it may be the only option.
