Oh absolutely. Basic Black has been a life saver for me many times,
especially considering I have always had a black Guide Dog. I think
everyone should own a pair of black slacks and at least one pair of blue and
khaki. All of these make it easy to coordinate outfits because just about
every color goes with all of them.
And let's not forget the slimming quality of black. <smiles>

Jewelry can also be used to add accents. This is a good way to accent things particularly for a blind person where color may be harder.
For example, I know wearing my silver jewelry with something black such as slacks works well.
*I have become a great follower of black dressy slacks which can be worn with a variety of blouses and jewelry. I know there are more courageous things to do with color but this works for business occasions and such.
