Tonight at 9 pm on PBS is a program called Through Deaf Eyes with famous and
not so famous people speaking about how the view of the deaf by hearing people
is not the view as deaf people see themselves and to understand disabled
people, in this case Deaf People but with all disabled people one must look
trhough their eyes or ears or whatever tells us the most from their point of
view.
I know I am singing to the choir but I feel it is important that we all need to
support programs like this. If it is not on your PBS station tonight, call and
find out when it is. For those in the Miami area who cannot watch it tonight
on Channel 2 it will be repeated Saturday at 2:am on Channel 2. If may also be
on Channel 17 but you will need to call or check their schedule separately.
