I too have a terrible time understanding drawings and pictures tactile. I
have been blind since birth, but a lot of sighted people have the same
problem. I am also orientation impaired. If I am familiar with my
surroundings I do just fine, but ask me where certain place is located in my
city and ask me to tell you how to get there and I am totally lost unless I
walk there. Again, however, many, many sighted people are "wrong way peach
fuzzes". I think, though that definitely people have become way too picture
conscious. If there is not a picture, they just do not know what to do.
Many people will not read a book without pictures. Now, didn't I fit that
nicely into a book list? (LOLOL)
