For accuracy and ease of use, nothing beats an OpticBook book edge scanner, but
if you desperately seek portability, I agree with Monica that the Canon Lide
scanner series (I think I have a 700) is very portable.

Hope this helps!

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Portable USB Scanners -- Any Recommendations?

Hi all,

I'm considering investing in a more portable scanner. Mine is a scanner /
copier / printer, and while my little Cannon three-in-one does a great job,
it's a bit awkward because of where I have it placed in relation to my desk,
and I'd like something a little more convenient, that I can also move around
relatively easily when the need or desire arises.

Any suggestions or recommendations would be much appreciated. And if this is
too OT for the list, I do apologize, and feel free to write me back privately
should you prefer.

Thanks in Advance,
Kim
