Last November, I submitted Poseidon's Gold, a Marcus Didius Falco mystery. I read it, spell-checked it, fixed the chapter headings and the page numbers--all the stuff I usually do. I think someone could have jiffy-proofed it, and it would have been fine. It's been checked out since then, almost all the time, but it still hasn't made it to the collection. What's the hold up? Tangentially, I really do not understand why someone faithfully renews a book, sometimes for a whole year, and then lets it go. When I grab a book, it's done in about 3 weeks, usually, though I just had one that took 7 weeks. Are people just hanging on to things, hoping to get to it, but never actually making it that far? It baffles me. Tracy To unsubscribe from this list send a blank Email to bksvol-discuss-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx put the word 'unsubscribe' by itself in the subject line.
