Hi Kim, Tim, and everyone, 

Tim--I agree that making the renewal link permanent would be a great idea, but, 
alas, it requires engineering! If only we on the volunteer side were skilled 
engineers! Sadly, we are not, so we must wait on the people who actually know 
what they are doing.

Kim--I'm glad you remembered when your book was due and I'm sorry you didn't 
get your pending expiration announcement. That's very annoying but awesome job 
for remembering. Hopefully this problem will be solved soon.

In other words, I think you all have wonderful and helpful ideas, but since 
they currently require the help of engineering, I think our best bet would be 
to stick this out a little bit longer until they have fixed the initial 
problem.  We know they are currently working to fix things, so let's see what 
they come up with and then, once that happens, we'd love your feedback!
