[bksvol-discuss] Submitting a book that is already in the collection and has received an excellent rating – is it worth it to submit my changes?

Hi all,

I have scanned in "The Rape of Lucrece" by William Shakespeare.
This book is already in the collection and has received an excellent
rating – the only problems it has is that there is no synopsis, some
page numbers are in the middle of the sentences, and parts of the book
are double spaced. I have fixed these mistakes in my scanned copy,
which is sitting on my hard drive waiting to be submitted.

Earlier this evening, I read a post from Ms. ReNae that got me
thinking. For those list members that do not know what post I am
talking about, following is an explanation of what the post was about.
A girl by the name of Julia (I apologize for using first names, I
mean no disrespect) wrote requesting help with a Christmas novel. Ms.
ReNae responded to her request, informing her that unfortunately her
time spent scanning was a waist because the book was already in the
collection and had been given an excellent quality rating. After
reading the post from Ms. ReNae, I was wondering – is it worth it to
submit the book with the changes I made – or will it just be rejected?

Thanks,

Jess
