You should send in Word Files because everybody doesn't use Kurzweil. You
should either save as Word or RTF Files.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Validtion Kurzweil versus Word documents

I have a questions for those validating books. For my personal scanning needs
I usually do my OCR with FineReader Pro 8.0 and save books as a Word document.
I've been sending them in that way.

I do have an older version of Kurzweil 3000 (v8) with an older version of
FineReader as the OCR engine.

Does it make a difference to validators which file type you get to help you
validate? Do you have a preference for Kuzweil or Word files? Or does it make
any difference?
