Mikey,
I don't know what kind of maching or word processing
software you're using. I use Microsoft Word on my Mac
and, formerly at work, on a PC. There are, if you
experiment, key strokes. I made a list years ago.
Option plus lower-case e will give you the accent you
want for Leon (acute). I forget what grave is. But
there's also, if you have an Insert file at the top
(or whatever it's called, in it is something called
Symbols, and if you click on that there is a whole
table of things -- umlauts, accents, copyrgith symbol
-- many more. If you click on that and then on insert
it will put the right accented letter where it
belongs.
I hope that's reasonably clear.
