I recommend that you do not mark them as adult in all cases. As much as any book might be intended for adults the problem is that the ones that are marked as adult become unavailable to people under the age of eighteen. They do not even show in their search results and they are prohibited from downloading them no matter what their interests might be or no matter how precocious they might be. If a book is actually inappropriate for people under the age of eighteen they will find out soon enough when they try to read them and they will quickly lose interest.
