Bob and E.,When Kurzweil puts die instead of the either alone or as the beginning of a word like theater you can change/correct it once and have it correct all. The only problem with that is that if the word should be die not the it will change the correct one to incorrect. But that is true of many programs with spell check that do not change words that are, in themselves, correct words and does not recognize them as misspellings. I find it easier to keep an eye for such words as I go through the text and can usually tell by the context which is the right word. I noticed that ll is often printed as U so all is aU and li is also converted to aU so alive is aUve and variations depending upon Kurzweil's mood (no joke). This is why I sometimes use two different spell checkers with two programs - the Kurzweil first with the .kes and Wordperfect with .rtf. But if WordPerfect is being busy adding blank pages I have to take the rtf back to Kurzweil to remove the extra blanks.
