Hi, Elizabeth, thanks for answering my question. I'm glad I understood you
correctly. That makes me feel good. One thing I've done is hit the alt key+F
then hit M and I could rename files that way. Either way, as long as the
file is renamed and has the correct extension, that's all that matters.

When you download a daisy format you will be downloading a zip file.
Yes, you do need to unzip it to get at the files in it.
Once you have unzipped it, you told it where you want the files to go. You
agreed to the default directory or changed it to a directory of your choice.
So now you go to the directory where the unzipped files live and one of them
is the .xml file.
It does not have to be unzipped again.
And yes, function key 2 is f2.
Yes, you understand correctly. You are renaming the file by changing the
.xml extension to .rtf.
