I actually don't understand how that author found Shannon. When you're not logged in, your name does not appear. So unless you're a volunteer, you can't see who submitted what book.*** Grace Join our club and swap paperback books for FREE - PaperBackSwap.com http://silvara.paperbackswap.com/profile/index.php ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tracy Carcione" <carcione@xxxxxxxxxx> To: <bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Friday, August 29, 2008 10:33 AM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: identifying volunteers I think this is an excellent idea. I've even got a nickname picked out, should it ever be implemented! TracyI think having a code for each volunteer will solve the problem. This idea is kind of like the bookshare volunteer code I suggested over two years ago. Each volunteer either chooses a nickname or is given a number such as E. for my name or bsv156. That way, anyone know knows he or she likes the submits of bsv156 or thinks my validating makes books come out in good shape can find out what i validated or submitted. Any member, volunteer or not can search books in this way. Non-bookshare members only see the codes. No volunteer's email is available except to other volunteers and to staff. E.
