Hi Jill, I haven't found a good way to determine the presence of extra tabs and spaces just by listening. Maybe someone else has though. If you are still using Kurzweil to edit, you can center text by first selecting the text and then pressing control plus e. This pairing of keystrokes will center the selected text. To select one line of text, place your cursor at the beginning of the line and press shift plus end. To select more than one line of text, place your cursor at the beginning of the text that you want to center, and press shift down arrow until you have heard all of the text spoken that you wish to be selected, or in sighted terms, highlighted. That said, I'm not certain if bookshare's tools preserve centering. I've never tried it.
