The very first book I validated for bookshare was like that. The lines were split in the middle, and sometimes were flush right and not flush left and were half-lines. It wasn't an LP book, either. I still sometimes find paragraphs and pages flush right instead of flush left, and occasionally, but rarely, lines that are split, or have words in sentences halfway down the page. When I come across pages like that I usually copy and save them in another word file and then when I get to where they belong I copy and paste them back. Now that I think about the book I just finished, the split lines do happen oftener than I remember, and I close them up. It's become such a habit I don't think about it any more -- and that was an LP book. But I've had the problem with non LP books, too. I've just gotten used to it and accept it as a matter of course.
