Hi, Jill, I just finished validating a large-print book and didn't have that problem at all. It had been submitted as a TXT file and I converted it to rtf, validated it in rtf, and uploaded it in rtf (happily!!!). BTW, the written instructions still say that we downloaded it in txt and must return it in txt, but that's not true. When you click on the format, you have a choice -- txt or rtf. They just haven't changed the introductory text. I did another LT text a while ago and didn't have that problem either.
