The scanners don't put their internal page numbers into the text, so it probably isn't that. If Word is inserting page breaks and numbers, which it does to make your file adhere to the printer settings, it would be good if you could delete them. In fact, if anyone has any idea of how to prevent Word from doing this to specific files I'd love to here about it. Hth, Kellie
