Hi, Just my 2 cents worth here. If the book truly is in 2 columns and MS Word sees it that way there is a solution. In Word you can go in to the format menu item. In there you will find a Columns choice. You will find a spin box. If it is set to 2 then cursor down and it should say 1. Next tab to the choice for applying the columns setting and tell it to apply to the entire document. Now when you click on OK Word will reformat it so that the right hand column is moved below the left hand column. If the info is long enough it will be made a new page. I hope this helps. ----- Original Message ----- From: Anastasia Saridakis To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, October 14, 2006 12:50 PM Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: problem never enncountered before hi shelly ok picture 5 pages with 2 colums each. page 5 comllum one endss and continues on page 1 colum 2 and then cuolum 2 on pages 1-5. does that make sence? so page 5 colum one reads Debby walked up to the house and then page one colum 2 reads and sat down on the portch. I cut and pasted it into m s word so it read correctly. My question is it is spread over 5 pages in the orriginal text. I plan to submit this book in r t f. I plan to replace those 5 pages with what I have done in m s word. whenn I cut and pste it do I make 5 random page breaks? any ideas? Thanks for responding shelly.
