Hi, Laurel. When you reply to a digest, if you want the original message
included at all, you do need to cut out the rest of the digest. Take care.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] responding to specific posts when in digest mode

I receive the bksvol-discuss posts in digest form so I do not get
individual e-mails for each posting. Using digest, how could I respond to a
specific posting when all the messages are in one e-mail? (These are the
postings that show up with "Re:" in the subject line followed by the
original subject.) Could I highlight the posting I want to respond to and
then send a reply e-mail posting to bksvol-discuss or would this send *all*
the postings from my digest list? Should I strip out all the postings I do
not want and then send a reply e-mail with only the posting I want left
from the original digest e-mail? Is this even possible or do I need to send
a new message each time I want to post to bksvol-discuss?

I hope this posting is not too confusing...

Laurel
