Estin,
You can validate books which have been scanned by other volunteers. Did you
read the validation instructions that Bookshare sends out when you become a
volunteer? They aren't the best, but they at least give you enough
information to begin asking questions. There should also be some better
instructions for volunteering coming out soon.
