Hi Kenny, If the scanner's note is relevant, that is, provides valuable information to the reader, don't ruin their hard work, and remove them. If they are notes to the proofreader that refer to things that will need fixing, please make the fixes, again not to ruin the submitter's hard work. After fixing things that need fixing, then, of course, you can delete the note directing you to make the fix. All notes that remain in the book need to be surrounded by square brackets []. I am proof reading a book titled the life of a christian. What do I do with scanner notes that the submitter puts in the book? Do I leave them alone or do I get rid of the scanner's note?
