Hi Bud,

        The problem that you're having with words being mispronounced that
are connected by an em dash is caused by the particular speech engine that
you are using.  I use ETI eloquence and have no pronunciation problems.  If
you use a different speech engine, I'll bet you notice a difference.

Hi Cindy,

Thanks for the info.  I'll try it the next time.  I'm not too 
familiar about the various kind of dashes.  I use the dash just to 
the right of zero at times.  Would that one do and should there be a 
space before and after?  I'll try it on an old book here that I have 
already sent in just in case I ruin it.
